The DeepFund Mechanism
Project DeepFund is a iterating funding mechanism which evolves from funding round to funding round and is in a constant state of change and development
To give you a first glimps on the overall iterative design, we can focus on three main phases which define a funding cycle
Proposal Submission: Each Funding Round starts with a phase where the Community is invited to create and submit proposals to add value to the future SingularityNET Ecosystem.
Proposal Evaluation: Once proposals are submitted, the Community comes and evaluates the proposals via comments and pre-vote on the proposal Platform
Voting: Once proposals are evaluated and the accepted once become eligible for a on-chain vote, te community votes with their AGIX voting power and decides which proposals should receive funds to get implemented
And for sure the last step then. Once proposals are approved via on-chain community vote, the approved proposals receive funds to execute and implement their proposals
Inbetween Funding Rounds
As already mentioned before, DeepFund is an iterative funding mechanism which evolves over time. Once a funding round is closed and funded proposals start to implement their proposals, the community then focuses on their engagement in mainly three topics which take place in between funding rounds. Once this process is completed, a new and improved funding round will start.
Governance Experiments
Take place in between Funding rounds and explore processes to decide on parameters for future funding rounds
Retrospectives
Take a stop, look back and identify from several perspectives what worked well and how participants experienced their engagements
Improvements
Allow us to take key learnings from Governance Experiments and retrospectives to improve future funding rounds
